Beverly and I opened the Mark Bergsma Gallery, at an upscale location called Bellwether on the Bay, in Bellingham, Washington in July of 2001. It continued to be a favorite for visitors and local patrons of the arts until it's closure in September of 2008. There, Mark Bergsma's fine art photographic images graced the interior along with other local artist creations that were represented there. The closing of those doors to the Mark Bergsma Gallery brought mixed feelings to both Beverly and myself. "We received many heartfelt comments from patrons and friends that were emailed and sent. The phone calls of appreciation touched our creative pathway and we sincerely thank you all. We will miss the varied and exciting interaction the gallery brought to our lives and want to thank those that supported our efforts there."
