Photographing the Pacific Northwest offers so much grandeur. This region is expansive in it's geography, scale, color, variety, atmosphere, and perspective. Some locations of these photographs are in my "backyard." Others are more remote, but wherever I aim my lens, I attempt to capture a certain story, a kind of inspiring conversation with the land, sea, mountains, or islands. You can be assured, the language of photography is constantly on my mind. Since 1979 I have been building upon the wonderful palate of imagery the Northwest has to offer. These classic landscape photographs of the San Juan Island, the North Cascades, and the Pacific Northwest Coastal areas etc., have became the roots of my photographic journey. An on-going pursuit of excellence is reflected in the large scale prints of my work. They illustrate my knowledge of subject matter, skills as a technician, and my "eye" as an artist. I certainly hope you will love seeing them through your own eyes, and return again and again.
